## Sentiment

The sentiment is measured *towards the brand*. For example, if a brand is shown in a positive light within a negative topic, it will return "positive" rather than negative.

| Type | Meaning |
| -------- | ----------------------------------------------------- |
| Positive | Favourable ("excellent choice", "highly recommended") |
| Neutral | Factual, no strong tone |
| Negative | Criticism or concern mentioned |

## Position

Position 1 = mentioned first (highest prominence). First-mentioned brands get more attention.

## What to Look For

* **How you're described:** What adjectives, features highlighted?
* **Accuracy:** Any incorrect or outdated information?
* **Patterns:** Recurring strengths or criticisms?
* **Comparison:** How do competitors' mentions differ?

## Tips

* Review weekly - read actual snippets, not just counts
* Focus on your brand first, then compare to competitors
* Negative mentions may signal issues to address
* Look for patterns across multiple mentions, not individual ones
