# Dashboard

> The Dashboard provides an at-a-glance overview of your brand's AI visibility with key metrics and trends.

## Header

* **Last Collection Date** — when data was last gathered
* **Request New Run** — trigger on-demand data collection
* **Share** — manage sharing settings for this project
* **Settings** (gear icon) — access project settings

## Filter Controls

| Filter     | Purpose                                                     |
| ---------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| Brand      | Select which brand to view (defaults to your primary brand) |
| Date Range | Time period for data                                        |
| Topics     | Filter by prompt topic categories                           |
| Tags       | Filter by custom prompt labels                              |
| Services   | Focus on specific AI platforms                              |
| Countries  | Filter by geography                                         |

Filters apply across all dashboard cards and persist as you navigate between report tabs.

## Visibility Chart

Shows your brand's visibility score over time as a percentage — how often your brand appears in AI responses.

* **90–100%** = Excellent — your brand dominates the conversation
* **70–89%** = Strong — consistently recommended
* **50–69%** = Moderate — appearing but room to grow
* **Below 50%** = Needs attention — competitors may be more visible

Look for trends: upward (improving), downward (investigate), stable (consistent).

## Industry Ranking

Your position versus competitors based on visibility score. Shows the top brands in your space with:

* **Rank** and **rank change** (green ↑ improved, red ↓ declined)
* **Visibility score** with trend indicator
* **Brand logo** and name

## Brand Position Distribution

Shows where your brand appears when mentioned in AI responses:

* **1st position** — mentioned first (highest prominence)
* **2nd position** — mentioned second
* **3rd position** — mentioned third
* **4th and beyond** — mentioned further down

First-mentioned brands typically receive the most attention. Track this distribution over time to see if your brand is moving higher in response order.

## Top Sources

The websites most frequently cited by AI platforms when responding to your prompts. Each source shows:

* **Domain name** with favicon
* **Citation count** and trend
* **Rank change** since previous period

This reveals which publications most influence AI responses in your space. See [Source Analysis](/docs/source-analysis) for deeper analysis.

## Source Categories

A visual breakdown of citations by type of website:

| Corporate          | Company websites                  |
| Reference          | Wikipedia                         |

| Institutional      | Government websites               |

Toggle between chart and table view to explore the distribution. This helps you understand what types of content AI platforms value in your industry.

## Recent Mentions

The latest instances where your brand was mentioned in AI responses. Each mention shows:

* **Prompt** that triggered the mention
* **Mention snippet** with your brand name highlighted
* **Rank position** (with trophy icons for top 3)
* **AI service** that generated the response
* **Country** context
* **Other brands** mentioned in the same response

Click any mention to open the full detail view. Click **View all** for the complete [Mentions](/docs/brand-mentions) report.

## Quick Review Cadence

* **Daily (5 min):** Check latest run completed, scan for major ranking changes
* **Weekly (15 min):** Compare to previous week, review ranking movements, read recent mentions
* **Monthly (1 hr):** Export data, document trends, plan actions based on insights
